A New Look – A New Approach

Money In Your Jeans has a new look thanks to Vividry. It  is also taking a new approach to putting money in your jeans. When I originally started writing this blog, nine months ago, my intent was to help people become financially literate. The problem is that most people believe (whether rightly or wrongly) that they understand how to manage their money.

I had struggled with the idea of shutting down the blog, but the good people at Third Tribe suggested that I change the focus of the blog. They suggested that:

  1. people are more interested in learning how to make money, than how to manage it.
  2. my experience and knowledge in instructional design could be used to teach others how to create informational products (Ebooks, online courses, membership sites, etc).

This advice gave birth to the new look and new approach to the blog.

Money In Your Jeans now focuses on how to create informational products through instructional design techniques. So, if you really want to learn how to create the informational products, using the best practices in instructional design, please subscribe to this blog by providing your email in the box below:

Terrific idea. I really need some one to help me create an eBook. I can write. I have good ideas, but I need someone to help me with the technology of it, how to create a way to collect money, how to deal with technical issues people encounter downloading the book, etc.

    Thanks for doing this.

    Great idea.

  3. Love this site, love the focus- think you have a potential gold mine. …people want step by step instructions with anything associated with a computer. Taking that fear away = instant sale. So glad/proud to stand next to you in the Third Tribe- ridgely

Thanks Ridgely. People have no idea that what they know can create their own personal goldmine. My goal is to teach them how to get there with lessons and articles on how to create high quality material.

I too am proud to be a Third Triber with you and all the other good people at Third Tribe.
